RIVERSPORT Wise Dragons- Dragon Boating for Seniors

Dragon Boating is an easy-to-learn paddlesport for people of all ages and abilities- free for those 65+

RIVERSPORT invites senior citizens to participate in a Dragon Boat Team. Dragon Boating is a fun, low-impact, and easy-to-learn paddlesport. Paddlers quickly make new friends in this team activity. The crew is comprised of seniors from around the OKC metro area. The team of 12-15 participants will practice weekly on Thursday evenings- starting April 6 to June 22, 2023. Practice will be on Thursdays from 6:30-8 pm.

The end-of-season race will be on Saturday, June 24, 2023 during the Stars & Stripes River Festival in the downtown Boathouse District. Racing will take place in the evening under the river stadium lights.
