RIVERSPORT invites senior citizens to participate in a Dragon Boat Team.  Dragon Boating is a fun, low-impact, and easy-to-learn paddlesport. Paddlers quickly make new friends in this team activity.  The crew is comprised of seniors from around the OKC metro area.  The team of 12-15 participants will practice weekly on Thursday evenings- starting April 6 to June 22, 2023.  RIVERSPORT coaches will run practice from 6:30-8 pm at the Chesapeake Boathouse in the Boathouse District.  RIVERSPORT will supply the coaching instruction, boat, paddles, life jackets and entry to the end-of-season race at the Starts & Stripes River Festival.   At the race on Saturday June 24, the team will compete in the Wise Dragons event against other seniors.
