Edible Urban Landscape: Practical Applications

Edible Urban Landscape: Practical Applications

Presented by SixTwelve Inc. at SixTwelve

Imagine your yard, lush with plants that are not only beautiful but also provide food and useable products that provide human and ecological benefits. This class will focus on functional plants, with an emphasis on perennials, that add tangible value to our Oklahoma urban spaces. We will explore how to create a hand drawn design and cover the basics of landscape installation.

Paul Mays is Director of Permaculture at SixTwelve where he has been teaching for five years. Mays grew up in the sticks of Oklahoma where he developed an everlasting love of nature. He began his gardening adventures thirteen years ago and quickly developed a passion for growing plants and creating beautiful and functional spaces.

All participants will be required to wear mask for the duration of workshop. Anyone not wearing a mask will be asked to leave.
