In this class, we will learn about wildcrafting basics, safety, and ethics and learn about some of the more common things to forage for and wildcraft with in Central Oklahoma including the various uses of each, and how to correctly identify them.
Wildcrafting is the art and skill of gathering from the wild and using that material for food, medicine, natural dyes, tools, art, etc. Wildcrafting is very much a primal instinct, but it requires an intimate relationship with the earth and the seasons and the diversity of the natural world in the area where you live as well as an intellectual knowledge of the various plants.
