City of Choctaw Kid's Fishing Derby

The Kid’s Fishing Derby, sponsored by the Choctaw Public Recreation Advisory Board, the Department of Wildlife Conservation, and the Choctaw Chamber of Commerce,is hosted at Ten Acre Lake.  Ten Acre Lake is stocked with many kinds of fish including catfish,
bass, and perch. We invite kids ages 3 to 16 for an exciting fun-filled day of fishing.
The derby is free of charge and bait is provided.  The 2020 Kid’s Fishing Derby will be held on September 19th, 2020. Registration will begin at 7:00 AM, fishing will start at 8:00 AM. The event concludes at 11:00 AM, but as always, you may stay as long as you want.
Prizes will be awarded for each fish that is caught with a specialty tag on the fish, regardless of age.  Raffles will also be drawn for other prizes.
