Aalim's Bellydancing in the Park

The weather is just delightful and it’s a perfect time to get out, get some fresh air, and learn some new dance moves. Join us Wednesday, April 14, at 6:00 PM for Bellydancing in the Park. Ayperi will be teaching.

This class is accessible for all levels and all bodies. Everyone from never-had-a-dance-class beginners to been-dancing-since-I-was-born experience is welcome. Bellydance is for every body!

Our goal with these outdoor events is to continue fostering community and stay healthy. Please be sure to physically distance during this event. We’re still in a pandemic and we must remain respectful and responsible.

What to wear: comfortable clothing you can move in. Workout clothes will do just fine. You might want to wear shoes that don’t easily slip off to protect your feet from whatever surface we’ll be dancing on. Wear a hip scarf if you’d like! No costume necessary.

Pricing: suggested donation $10, but if that’s not in your budget, please don’t let that keep you from coming. All are welcome! If you are able to donate, bring cash, check made out to Aalim, or donate via PayPal to aalimokc@gmail.com.

Where: Northwest corner of Perle Mesta Park at NW 19th and Shartel. Parking is on the street around the park.

Weather: this class is weather-permitting. Should the weather not cooperate, Ayperi will teach class online and stream via Facebook Live.
