Edmond's First Thursdays, the monthly open-air art walk event, is back for its second season, kicking off on Thursday, April 7th in Downtown Edmond!
Mark your calendar now for the first Thursday of each month April through October! Downtown Edmond will be bustling with unique artists, live performances, and great local shopping from 5:00pm - 9:00pm during this free community event.
VIBES highlights a variety of creative talent "housed" in participating businesses. Community members are invited to stroll, sip, see and be a part of the creativity happening throughout downtown Edmond. VIBES supports local businesses while generating a family-friendly art hub in central Oklahoma. This creative collaboration is facilitated by the Edmond Fine Arts Institute, a 501c3 arts nonprofit located in the heart of downtown at 27 East Edwards.
This year VIBES is excited to announce that 73 Visual Artists, 38 Performing Artists, and more than 40 Downtown Businesses are participating in the events for the 2022 season. Sensational new features coming to the events include two Paint Offs, one Mural Paint Off Competition, a Plein Air Art Night, Chalk Art Night, Ceramics Throw Night, Sketch Sessions on the Lawn, unique performances, and much, much more!
