Second Saturday Community Walk for Unity

CHANGE OF TIME DUE TO HEAT! July 11th at 7:30 – It’s summer -it’s going to be HOT. 9100 Lake Hefner Pkwy (parking lot of OKC Boat club parking area; enter off Britton and turn south on Lake Hefner Pkwy service road in front of Mama Roja, drive until road curves; lot is also near Lions children’s playground — message if you have any questions). BRING WATER!

Join us every month on the second Saturday for a community walk, 30 minutes out and back, around the lake. We will start at different locations each month so keep an eye out or contact us for meeting location.

This event is intended to promote the human community. Invite your friends who want to promote racial unity through positive action. #ascendtogetherfoundation

Kids are welcome and we may end up with a couple of different paces, but we will start together. With 30 minutes out and back we should all meet back around the same time. Not quite hiking or climbing but we will get there! Take pics and post on your social media accounts. Tag us while you’re at it. 🙂
